It is difficult, almost impossible to imagine the modern world without personal computers (PC). We must acknowledge their great impact on human life. However, we must concentrate only on those directions in which these technologies are developed at Grigol Robakidze University.

 

The computer centre at the University is equipped with PC Pentium IVs with flat screen, LQ monitors, which are networked locally and are connected to the provider by a priority line. There is a liquid-crystal monitor, which allows the use of computer technologies in the educational process without any negative impact on students’ health, for example, to give visual lectures using Microsoft Power Point system.

 

For the dentistry studies in the laboratory of stimulated techniques, there is a separate computer network, on which the special teaching and testing programme is arranged.

 

All the Deans' offices have their PC which allows automatic calculation of students' achievements by the specially written programme.

 

The library is equipped with 16 computers where students can fulfill any kind of work.

Students of the School of Law study the work according to a special programme (e.g. Photo robot). In addition, they have access to the database of the Parliament where all legislative acts of Georgia are placed.
