The Library
The library of
Grigol Robakidze University was established in 1992. Today there are over 15000 books in it.
The book stock has been enriched significantly by books in Business, Law and English language. These were presented by the Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom) and Grigol Robakidze University expresses its gratitude to Dr. Trevor Cartledge and Ms. Jackie Stephens.
The University also expresses its gratitude to Ms. Sharon Miles (wife of the Ambassador of the American Embassy in Georgia) and Ms. Sharon Hudson-Dean (ex-Public Affairs Officer of the Ambassador of the American Embassy in Georgia) who presented to the University a number of books on American history, economics, culture and literature.
The methodic literature on Quality Assurance which was presented by
Tempus TACIS project is especially important for the library of the University and it will help the staff of the University to be introduced and developed into the principles of the thinking of European didactics, to master new pedagogical technologies and so on.
Present to the Library
We would like to thank Mr. Lancelot Fletcher who presented the unique digital library and a very important book for students “The Debate on the Constitution” to the library of the University.
These gifts are already available to students and staff.
By the decision of the Council of the Library was established Lancelot Fletcher’s resource fund which is available to every student and staff member.
