Grigol Robakidze University held the “WELCOME PARTY” for freshmen in the club “Night Office”. The aim of the event was the ceremonial reception of freshmen.

The first part of the evening was theatricalized and had ideological character. The Rector of the University and deans of each School addressed students and congratulated them on the beginning of the academic year. The graduates of the University gave torch to the freshmen as the sign of passing the baton. On this day, the University initiated a new tradition – the Rector read the oath to students. After this, the freshmen, under the international hymn of the University, put amulets on their necks.

The second part was fun and entertainment. Grigol Robakidze University graduate, singer Levan Kbilashvili sang for the freshmen. Finally, a JD played for the students.
