The Criminalistics laboratory complex is a very important resource at the School of Law. This complex is comprised of three laboratories and is equipped with the newest criminal techniques, microscopes, dactyloscopic materials, ultra-violet apparatus, night-light binoculars, investigation cases, photo techniques etc. Students are all taught in the training room, which is identical to an ordinary room and its main character is a model. In this room students investigate different situations prepared by a teacher. Then these cases are discussed and analyzed by a group. In this room students also work on situational models. This enables them to work out correct investigation skills.
The laboratory is equipped with audio-visual technique, specialized video films, and special computer programmes. On the basis of the demonstration and a critical analysis of them, the knowledge and intuition necessary for a true investigator are developed in students.
