Functions of the service

 

The main functions of the service are:

 

  • Providing necessary environment for effective HR management on the basis of     the new   principles and approaches
  • Ensuring unbiased, transparent, competitive   environment within the set time limits while opening new vacancies
  • Planning the process of  professional development of the staff, organizing trainings, working   out and realizing the  flexible programmes differentiated according to working directions (trainings, internships)
  • Regulating the collaboration relations with the staff, clarifying  the cases of participating sides, organizing the process of signing labour contracts according to the Georgian legislation
  • Setting one day HR management system using  IT technologies,  creating the database of the personnel
  • Sharing   and implementing the experience of the developed countries in the field
  • Preparing legislation acts, projects on regulation the process of employment, dismissal, award, transfer from one job to another for all kinds of personnel ( academic, administrative , auxiliary) 
  • Creating portfolios for the personnel, processing and archiving them according to the set rules
  • Coordinating the issues related to the university personnel, monitoring the process  of maintaining labour discipline
  • Defining/analyzing prospective raise of  number of the university employees, organizing internet forums, attracting professionals in order to publicize the information about the opportunity of raising qualification, changing the working skills and fields
  • Providing consultation and methodological aid within the competence of the university
